
A native of Carmi, Illinois, Rosanne received her education at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and the University of Houston, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Additional study has included Bradley University, workshops with many leading watercolor artists and, from 1986-1993, class with the late Lajos Markos, world renowned portrait artist. She has also participated in John Howard Sanden's National Portrait Seminars, as well as those of the American Society of Portrait Artists and the Portrait Society of America.
In 1981, Rosanne was selected by New York's Salmagundi Club to be a COGAP (Coast Guard Art Collection) artist. Participating artists are chosen from the nation's professional artists and illustrators to develop artwork in their home area or on special assignment to contribute to the United States Coast Guard Art Collection.
Rosanne has lived in the Houston Galveston Bay area since 1969. Active in many art and community activities, she was honored with a one-person show at the Bay Area Museum, and has been a Judge in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo School Art Program since 1980.
